The 52 km Molokai to Oahu Ocean race is on again and will be starting Monday morning Australian Time at 4am (8am local Hawaiian time). The race has attracted some big names this year with a great field assembled to tackle the crossing from the island of Molokai to the Island of Oahu.
John John Florence will compete in the prone division, kai lenny is favoured to take out the newly launched foil class and last years race winner Travis Grant will be back to defend his title.
Blue Planet's own young gun, 18 year old Ty Judson will be making the crossing for the second time and will be hoping to back up his top 10 finish from last year with another strong showing. Nathan Cross is competing in his first M2O and has been training hard and is ready for a big showing after a strog performance in the recent M2M Ocean race. Blue Planet CEO Robert Stehlik will be competing again this year and will be hoping for another string finish having previously taken out his division title on multiple occasions.
Got luck to all the competitors, the wind forecast is looking great and we hope you all have a safe and successful race.
